When President Kennedy decided in the early 1960’s that the USA must be first to land a man on the moon, which was achieved in 1968, it took NASA years of preparation involving hundreds of man years, billions of dollars, and one newly created position that led to the immediate launch of a modern profession. During the post-contract stage of the project, Implementation Ltd’s role is that of a construction manager.
